ALL AGES WELCOME:
Middle School, High School, University Students and Adults.

Improvisation experience is NOT required. This workshop has 3 levels:
Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced

You may attend one, two or all three of the sessions
as a participant or an observer.

Bring your instruments! All instrumentalists, including:
Trumpet, Trombone, Sax, Clarinet, Flute, Violin, French Horn, Oboe, etc...

Rhythm section players:
Piano, Guitar, Vibes, Bass, and Drums

The 3rd Annual Sinatra Birthday Bash!

A production of Jazz Arts Project in association with the Count Basie Theatre

Sinatra Birthday Bash takes place each year on or about Frank Sinatra’s­­ birthday as a tribute performance to “Old Blue Eyes.” The finest saloon singers in the region, all selected by audition specifically for this performance. Each year a new cast takes the Count Basie Theatre stage backed by the critically acclaimed 17-piece Red Bank Jazz Orchestra under the musical direction of conductor Joe Muccioli, who Jazzwise Magazine says works with "a maximum of authenticity." This event is a musical celebration of the life and artistry of the one and only Frank Sinatra.

The cast sings the great songs of the American Songbook, tunes associated with this musical icon during his extraordinary career. The Sinatra Birthday Bash is not a hat and wig show, but a sincere, respectful tribute in music and song to one of New Jersey’s favorite and most famous sons.
